Volvo Car Mobility, developed and operated the station based car sharing venture called Volvo On Demand, 100% owned by Volvo Cars.


I had a diverse role in the commercial team that covered qualifying impact, internal reporting, external affairs and commercial development in new markets

Key results

  • Defined and led VCM’s sustainability vision, environmental policy & environmental certificates - ISO14001
  • Findings from sustainability report became a central business KPI for VCM and were included in Volvo Car Companies yearly report

  • Lead the expansion drive into new markets, understanding policy and building key account relationships with legal bodies and commercial partners
  • Core team member of Vinnova project working to design and develop a prototype of a shared mobility hotspot that became blueprint national standard for all Swedish cities for mobility hotspots.

I joined Volvo Car Mobility (VCM) during in the very early stages of the startup, as the first service designer on the team. As is the case with early stage startups I had a diverse hands on role.

Key results

  • Customer experience process development of the new service
  • Conducted testing with 357 external users and conducted 200+ qualitative interviews
  • Coordinated the launch of the service in Stockholm
  • Led internal team to develop the initial brand platform
  • VCM became Sweden's largest car sharing provider in terms of active users, fleet size, and footprint, operating in seven cities

  • In 2022, Volvo Cars increased its investment in VCM

Significant project results

Repositioning ZoundIndustries (now known as Marshall Group) in the sports market segment, in preparation for their licensing agreement with Adidas.

I defined the project scope, managed the budget, and package and delivered the final insights. In February 2018, ZoundIndustries and Adidas finalised their audio product licensing agreement, extending until 2024, with the first headphones launching in 2019.

At Doberman, I worked as a senior consultant developing innovation and customer experience design projects, specialising in the convergence of digital and physical touch points that shape holistic product and service experiences.

Significant project results

The design of the New Retail Experience for Tele2 in Amsterdam. I shared the lead for overall process and methodologies, as well as overseeing the research and concept phases.


Within less than a year of opening the new stores, they achieved remarkable results:

  • All stores exceeded their projected business targets by an impressive 25% within the first six months.
  • Customer satisfaction reached new heights, with a rating of 8.0 (on a 1-10 scale) in March '16, further increasing to 8.1 in April, making retail the highest-performing channel.
  • The new stores emerged as Tele2's top sales channel, excelling in both customer value and satisfaction.

Key tasks

As a founder and CEO my daily responsibilities to the company were very wide, however my core to responsibilities covered sales bringing in new as well as developing existing customers.


Developing the creative team so it was balanced correctly, and that the individual staff members were happy and working at it optimal level.

I had also worked with digital design before this date, and had completed the first Bachelor of Arts in the UK focused on Interactive Design.
