Digital Brand Director at Grow
My responsibility at Grow has been to redefine Grows digital offer bringing it inline with the Grows overall holistic branding services.

Along side this I am also responsible for delivering digital strategic planning, digital brand building strategies, digital identities and online communication concepts to a range to a wide range of international brands.

Clients: Familijen Dafgård, Bring, Helly Hansen, Habo, Bonnier, Pöyry, SAS, iL, Lumene, Suunto.

Course Director, Lecturer and Mentor

Berghs School of Communication & Hyper Island
Since 2008 I have been a regular lecturer at Berghs school of communication. The focus has been to give the students an introduction and basic overview into digital graphic design. In 2011 I was asked to be the course director for Berghs Bachelor in Web Design.

I also lecture in digital branding at Hyper Island and have been a mentor to first year digital art direction students.


2005 to 2010

Founder and Creative Director of Supernative (4 years 9 months)
I started Supernative with my business partners with a goal to help develop overall digital presence for well know brands in Scandinavia. With my experience in communicative projects and a broad understanding of technology, the focus of Supernative was to place the demands of communication and design in a digital world before technology.

Supernative was a team of highly skilled creatives who had a full understanding of what is required to create a successful web presence.

As a senior person in Supernative my daily responsibilities to the company were very wide, however my core to responsibilities covered sales bringing in new as well as developing existing customers. Developing the creative team so it was balanced correctly, and that the individual staff members were happy and working at it optimal level.

My responsibilities towards the clients was as the lead strategist and over-all Creative Director.

Clients: NCC, Absolute Vodka, Tv4, Hi3G, Redbull, Grolsch, Dagens Nyheter, FM Mattsson, Familijen Dafgård, Connecta.


2004 to 2005

Art Director at HallbergHöögh (1 year 8 months)
At HallbergHöög I was the Lead Art Director the main account that I worked on was 3 Scandinavia. After winning the pitch we created and built the online platform for 3 in Scandanivia as well as helping them develop their online communication and creating and developing their e-commerce platform.

I was responsible for developing the 3 account from the initial contract to a retainer incorporating seven fulltime consultants.

2000 to 2004

Self Employed Art Director (4 years 2 months)
Under the company name Paperwrapstone I operated from Soho office in central London, I was sole employee of the company and called on a network of contractors to build a team for each specific project. I offered website design and development to a range of clients.

Clients: Hi3G, BCC, Channel 4(UK), Sony Records and v-on.


1999 to 2000

Senior Designer BBC (1 year 1 month)
During my time at BBC Bristol my responsibilities were to be the lead creative on projects websites, CD-roms and Broadcast motion graphics. I also had to liaise with the clients into order to deliver the final product.

Clients: BBC, Trigger Happy TV, European Space Agency.


1997 to 1999

Motion graphics designer Mousepower Studios (2 years 1 month)
During my time at Mousepower I created moving graphics and interactive solutions for both business to business clients as well as clients working in education and entertainment.

Clients: BCC, Apple Computers, Lucent technologies.


1994 to 1997

Interactive Designer Realworld studios (2 years 5 months)
I was part of a team of creatives working for Peter Gabriel. Our role was to explore and created digital experiences combining interactive media and music. This resulted in many projects, most notably the award wining CD rom ‘EVE’

Steinar Danielsen is digital strategist with a strong design background. Through-out his carrier and has been lucky enough to be at the fore front of digital media, which has provided him with a deep knowledge in digital brand development and communication.
